Position Details
As a massage therapist, you will work as an independent contractor with flexibility in hours and scheduling.
Therapists will conduct sessions ranging from 30 to 90 minutes, with the opportunity to utilize any other licensing or specialization they hold as long as it aligns with our overall mission. MotherLove Massage uses an online scheduling platform and payment portal for efficient management of client appointments.
Team members may also participate in quarterly training sessions, community outreach initiatives, and engaging social events to enhance professional ability and effectiveness.
Responsibilities
- Provide exceptional massage therapy services to clients according to their needs and preferences.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
- Adhere to all safety and hygiene protocols.
- Keep accurate records of client sessions and payments.
- Communicate regularly with regards to scheduling availability.
Requirements
- Valid massage therapy license/certification.
- Liability insurance – Proficiency in various massage techniques.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage your own schedule effectively.
- Previous experience in a similar role is preferred.
