Workshop Details
Build confidence working effectively in the side-lying position. Explore positioning variations, secure bolstering, body mechanics, how to access key anatomical structures, and therapeutic techniques that make side-lying treatment comfortable for both client and therapist.
An essential foundation for anyone working with pregnant clients—and a valuable position for post-surgery, the elderly, plateaued clients, and many other populations.
- Licensed/registered massage therapists, student massage therapists who have completed 500+ hours of accredited school training, and other licensed maternity care professionals with a touch scope of practice.
- Certified Doulas
Required Supplies:
- 4-6 pillows, or sidelying support system
Participants who attend all scheduled workshop hours and complete all required activities will receive 2 continuing education (CE) hours. CE documentation cannot be issued until all workshop requirements have been completed.
