This workshop explores the physical, emotional, and psychosocial changes of the postpartum period and the role of massage therapy in supporting recovery through the fourth trimester and beyond.

Through lecture, demonstration, discussion, and hands-on practice, participants will explore postpartum physiology, positioning, precautions, and massage techniques following vaginal and cesarean birth. The workshop also introduces complementary and culturally rooted postpartum practices while emphasizing individualized care, professional scope, and appropriate referral.
